Since selling their (with husband David) hospitality business in 1983, Kathy has had a variety of roles in the kiwifruit industry, from planting, pruning, picking and packing to heading the administration team for a large packhouse/coolstore complex for 6 years. For those 6 years, she was also responsible for all the financial aspects of local and export market avocados, market returns and grower payments through to final end of year financials. Prior to kiwifruit, she was involved in the floriculture industry, responsible for tracking product and sale returns in the local and export markets, plus costings back through the supply chain and raising grower payments.  | | Ian Vercoe | | Senior Developer/Team Leader | A man of many talents, Ian has led the KiwiPlus team for several years and is now an industry specialist in terms of inventory management for both the kiwifruit and avocado sectors. Trained as a Motor Technician and rising to a senior role in vehicle diagnostics in Australia, Ian has a passion for all things technical and builds hi-fidelity speaker systems in his spare moments. Ian developed a keen interest in the computer industry to the extent of tutoring in the subject at several national technical institutions. His in-depth knowledge of the kiwifruit industry is a big asset to the development of Radford's applications.
